Michael Sinel, M.D. is a Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Pain Management. He has been continuously licensed to practice medicine in either the State of New York and/or the State of California since 1986 through the present. He received his M.D. from State University New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1985. Dr. Sinel completed an Internship in General Medicine at Staten Island Hospital in 1986 and completed his Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 1989
Dr. Sinel has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Department of Medicine and has been an Attending Physician at the UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center and Overuse Syndrome Clinic. He has been on the Faculty at the UCLA Medical School, Doctoring Program and has had Staff Privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, St. John’s Medical Center and at Century City Hospital. He has received the Blue Ribbon Award-Poster Presentation-Academy PM&R for "Cervical Myelopathy as a Complication Athetoid Cerebral Palsy." Dr. Sinel has also published two books and numerous articles in Peer-Reviewed publications and have made multiple presentations to medical personnel.
